Old Design
Talking about sphinx, people tend to assume it'd be the one from Egypt, the one with Lion body and head of a man wearing a headdress. Playing Age of Mythology, I discovered the sphinx unit from the Greek. Therefore brought by curiosity I researched more about sphinx and came up with this sketch based on the Greek Sphinx.
Sphinx Cub Thea
Renewed design of the old sphinx, still with the intention of designing a character based on the less popular sphinx, but now with more personality added. Thea was inspired by my little sister. As a teenager she's full of riddle about what it means to be a grown up, hoping others will help her find the answers but gets mad at people when the answer doesn't please her.
